Listening - The listening section aims to check the listening skills of the candidate in detail. The section includes six parts namely, Listening to a Problem-Solving Conversation, Listening to a Daily Life Conversation, Listening to a News Item, Listening to a Discussion, Listening for Information, Listening to different Viewpoints. The CELPIP Exam takes around 50 minutes to complete. Each clip is played only once. The allotted time to answer a question is 30 seconds.
Reading - The reading section takes 55 to 60 minutes and includes four distinct sections namely, Reading Correspondance, Reading to Apply a Diagram, Reading for Information, and Reading for Viewpoints. Each section is required to be completed in 10 minutes (approximately).
Writing - CELPIP writing involves two tasks – Writing an Email and Responding to Survey Questions. You are allotted 53 minutes to attempt both tasks. Each task type should be completed in 150-200 words.
Speaking - In the speaking task, the candidate is required to reply to the on-screen prompts verbally. The CELPIP Exam includes a total of eight tasks and is required to be finished within 15-20 minutes.
